We are a group of committed parents and grandparents, educators and business leaders, dedicated to bringing an exciting children's museum to Southern Maryland. Discover U Children's Museum will be a hands-on, interactive, and creative place where children can play to learn and discover all that they are and all that they can do.

We need time, talent, and treasures.
Time.... We need volunteers to help us raise the money needed to build/open a hihg quality children's museum as well as create relationships throughout Southern Maryland
Talent.... We need people to join our Steering Committee. We also need volunteers to help by joining our various sub-committees (Fund raising, Finance, Public Relations, Education and Programs, Special Events, Communications, Grants, Arts, Exhibit Development and Design). We need people to offer their special skills: construction, interior design, and marketing. There are so many ways one can contribute to the development of the museum.
Treasures.... We clearly need financial contributions to make this happen.
Discover U Children's Museum has made tremendous progress so far. We need your help to make this dream come true. The most important quality we seek in our volunteers is reliability. Whether it's volunteering a couple of hours or heading up a committee, your help is greatly appreciated.
